(May 3, on a makeshift stage in a park. Open to Naughties looking to bully this trembling mess or some fellow Ohana.)
Pale paws smeared against creamy fur, tall ears trembling aggressively atop his head. Houdini steeled himself, inhaling deep amounts of breaths and imagining the crowd out there but he was ready. The flutters churning in his stomach weren’t as much as it was when he had first started doing this thing and his heart didn’t hammer as bad. Tiny nose wiggled and he gulped a few more times before adorning a large hat that parted between taller ears. Using his minor telekinesis the rabbit creature flicked open the towering curtains to reveal himself to the gathered humans. Their cheers were sucked in, anticipation overcoming their voices. No camera was amongst them, they already were aware that flashes were prohibited around his eyes. Swiping that very gaze, the one that controls the visual solidity of anything took in those around him. Smiling he held his small paw up before closing his eyes, returning to sight a wand of some sort. Already the people were grinning and clapping. Houdini smirked with slight confidence, humans were so easily pleased and he felt so strong around them. Straightening out his back he portrayed a better stature, his petite tail waggling in his growing excitement.
Whisking the wand to and fro, cards began to ascend around him and start to spin, slowly at first. Gesturing towards the crowd he gathered them and faced the front so they were able to visualize the images of the cards. Pointing at an adjacent human he then beckoned them with a flick of his fingers. “Card,” he said in a soft but firm voice in which they plucked a suspended card. In a flash he blinked, rendering all of them invisible again. Houdini had revealed and concealed the cards as he swirled them around his small body, acting as if he was channeling some inner dousing. Gathering them all within sight once more he lined every card up.
“Card is,” he began, “This card!” he blinked and kept their card the only one visible which sent the human sputtering and grinning. “That’s my card!” he said happily which induced a roar of claps from the others. Houdini inflated his chest and raised arms, clearly enjoying the attention for once. However, the crowd would surely attract attention from someone else.
